On the eve of one of fashion's biggest nights, here at rumour has it we decided to take a look back at the best and worst dressed of the Met Ball 2012.
Best dressed
Kate Bosworth
Feathers seemed to be the style of choice for the night and with this two- tone flapper dress Kate knew just how to pull it off! With an effortless top knot and striking makeup, she topped our list.
Carey Mulligan
Came in close second on our best dressed list with her effortless chic and sci- fi Prada gown. Love it!
Dianna Agron
Glee's Dianna Agron stunned in an emerald green Carolina Herrera gown. Minimal makeup and a classy updo won us over!
Worst Dressed
Elizabeth Banks
Oh honey no no. It seemed the style of the Capitol rubbed off on our Elizabeth. Banks settled on a Mary Katrantzou gown that featured a high neckline and a peplum waist which did her no favours. You can do better than that banksy!
Beyonce Knowles
Controversial I know but one word; Predictable!

Christina Ricci
Seems as if Christina needed to remind everyone just how big of a gift she is. Personally, we think the bespoke Thakoon gown swamped the petite actress and was generally very fussy.
